Welcome to DEWI
Our meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month at 8:00 pm in the Parish Room, The Platt, Dormansland, near Lingfield, Surrey, RH7 6RA.
Please leave a message on our Guestbook Page before you depart
Our fabulous members have been busy knitting mini blankets, cardigans and Easter bunnies for the premature babies in the Neonatal Unit at East Surrey Hospital, under our member Christine's guidance.
Last summer, the theme for the Dormansland Scarecrow Festival was "Children's Literature". The very hungry DEWI caterpillar claimed pride on place on the village sign. After the carnival he found a permanent home on top of the bookcase at Blackwell Primary School. We hope he isn't partial to books!
The DEWI Walkie-Talkies were out for a gentle stroll, when Wonderwoman Sheilah Gray (one of our founder members) vaulted into action.
She was caught on camera by Jackie Atwell.
