We have two book clubs, one during the day and one in the evening, both of which meet once a month in a member’s home to discuss their book of the month. Our opinions on the books we read are always widely varying and it makes it so much more interesting to compare notes once we have read a book and to hear what others have to say.

Our book clubs got started around 1997 and there weren't many book clubs around back then. Over that time we have read … well you work it out … hundreds of books between us and have had many interesting and varied debates.

Sometimes our two book clubs read the same book then get together in the Parish Room for a big debate. Local librarians also join us.
